Full Time Logistics Supervisor (Warehouse)
The Opportunity
Technology for Living (TFL) is in search of an experienced, performance driven, team-focused and compassionate individual, who would like to use their leadership skills and supervisor experience to provide warehouse oversight for the Provincial Respiratory Outreach (PROP) and Technology for Independent Living (TIL) programs to support people throughout the province of BC.
This position is a permanent full-time role (37.5 hours per week).
Workdays are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM at our warehouse in Vancouver, BC.
The hourly wage is $35/hr-$40/hr depending on the level of experience. Comprehensive extended health benefits (EHB) package and Municipal Pension Plan (MPP) are provided.

The Organization
Technology For Living (TFL) is a non-profit social purposed organization that has served people with disabilities in British Columbia for the past 50 years. Our primary purpose is to help people with disabilities live independently at home by providing, installing, and servicing assistive technology and home automation for people living with physical disabilities. We do this through the offerings of three member-centered programs: 1. Technology for Independent Living (TIL), 2. Provincial Respiratory Outreach Program (PROP), and our 3. Peer Support Program.
The Position
The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the efficient daily operations of the department to meet the needs of members in the PROP (Provincial Respiratory Outreach Program) and TIL (Technology for Independent Living) programs of Technology for Living. This role involves actively supervising staff, delegating tasks, and maintaining accountability to ensure all logistical functions run smoothly and efficiently. As a hands-on leader, the Logistics Supervisor provides guidance and support to the team. Working along side team members, this role will identify, resolve challenges and maintain productivity. This individual upholds organizational values by fostering a positive work environment built on teamwork, enthusiasm, compassion, and professionalism. Strong interpersonal communication, and time management skills are essential to effectively coordinate departmental activities, set performance expectations, and drive operational excellence.
Required Skills & Competencies
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in a similar or related role, is required.
- Experience in a non-profit organization is an asset.
- Confidential, empathetic and respectful demeanour.
- Working knowledge of computer application programs, including Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrates confident and solid verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to interact/communicate effectively with co-workers, members, caregivers, and other professionals in a respectful, courteous and empathetic manner.
- Organized and detailed oriented.
- Ability to think analytically and use sound judgment.
- Creative thinker with an interest to introduce new initiatives.
- Ability to set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details, data, information and activities.
- Proven ability to thoroughly follow through on tasks and assignments.
- Skillful at identifying and rectifying potential problems, roadblocks and/or challenges.
- Must be legally qualified to work in Canada and be a permanent resident.
- Successful applicants must pass BC Criminal Records Check.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 20 lbs. without challenge.
