BCITS needs your vote
Concord Pacific is sponsoring a community campaign called “Kindness Pays Forward”. Thanks to our staff member April Skold and her volunteer work, BCITS has been nominated as a possible recipient of this campaign which will award the winning community organisation $30,000. To win this prize, BCITS needs to achieve the most clicks for the video of April being interviewed by Global BC community reporter Michael Newman. Should BCITS achieve the most clicks of all entries for the $30,000 prize money, this amount could even grow higher should the panel of judges also cast its vote for BCITS! Please CLICK and vote for April Skold and BCITS!
The money will be put to the best of use by our biomeds in the Technology for Living (TIL) program. TIL wants to purchase equipment to ensure that people with disabilities who live at home are able to control their environment and live in the community more independently. TIL believes that people with disabilities can greatly benefit from devices operated for example by Google Home. Winning the $30,000 will have a significant positive impact on our clients.
